I still maintain good relationships with everyone I work with at both the CMG and the CBC.

I'm running for re-election as the Prairie director on the Branch executive. I’m proud to be running under the banner of CMG Workers United.
Having been dubbed a "human Marge Simpson hrm noise," I bring a healthy skepticism to every table. I think this is critically important. I still maintain good relationships with everyone I work with at both the CMG and the CBC.
I deliver results with a loud voice at the National Grievance Committee and the national News Issues Committee. I often sit across the table from the most senior managers at the Corporation as your representative, and want to continue this work.
As a business and economic journalist, I have a good knowledge of how the CBC's budget works. I also understand our needs as the CBC's workers. I've worked at the CBC in Calgary for about eight years. Before that, Windsor and Toronto. I've been in editorial production, technical production, and worked as a temp for years so I understand all of those realities. That includes work in the field, in the newsroom, and both on and off the air.
I also understand the differences between 'Toronto' and what the regions need, on top of understanding what those in the building need from those working remotely or in the field.
I believe we can make the CMG easier to access, and to help workers know their power. We are not alone at work!

Je me présente à la ré-élection au poste de directeur – Prairies pour la sous-section SRC.

On m'appelle un <<Marge Simpson hrm noise>> et je suis sceptique quand c'est important. J'ai de bonnes relations avec tous mes collègues, tant à la GCM qu'à la SRC.
Je m'assure que nous sommes représentés, et aussi j'ai une voix forte au comité national des griefs et le comité national des nouveaux enjeux.
Je suis un journaliste économique, et je comprends les budgets du la SRC. Aussi, je comprends nos besoins. Je travaille pour la CBC à Calgary depuis presque huit ans. Avant, je travaillais à Windsor et Toronto. J'ai travaillé comme producteur et comme technicien.
J'ai aussi été temporaire, donc je les comprends. J'ai été technicien de terrain, technicien de studio, journaliste de terrain, à l'antenne et dans la salle de nouvelles.
Je connais les différences entre Toronto et les régions. Je comprends la différence entre le travail à l'extérieur et au bureau.
Je veux rendre le monde de la GCM plus facile et plus accessible à comprendre. Je veux que les travailleurs connaissent leur pouvoir. Nous ne sommes pas seuls au bureau.
