Meet Your Candidate

Faith Fundal

They/Them

My colleagues, friends, and union neighbours, I’m asking for the privilege of being your national CMG Vice-President. For almost 20 years, I’ve shared in the triumphs and struggles we’ve had in telling stories across Canada. I want to use my experience to advocate for us all together, which is why I’m running alongside my colleagues at CMG Workers United.

About Me and My Platform

My colleagues, friends, and union neighbours, I’m asking for the privilege of being your national CMG Vice-President.

For almost 20 years, I’ve shared in the triumphs and struggles we’ve had in telling stories across Canada. I want to use my experience to advocate for us all together, which is why I’m running alongside my colleagues at CMG Workers United.

I’ve worked in both private and public media in multiple cities, including Vancouver, Prince George, and Toronto. That has all led me to spending just shy of half a decade as a radio host in Winnipeg, while also serving as a trustee of your Guild and on negotiation teams for our largest groups of workers.

Whether you are a broadcast engineer, an editorial researcher, or a daily reporter, we all have something in common: the need to be heard, not just by our audiences, but by the management and corporations who employ us. I am running to be your national Vice-President, and I hope you’ll grant me the privilege of representing all our members as we fight for media work in this country.
